THE FARM

 “Torre Bianca” farm owes its name to an ancient villa built in the Middle Ages, dating back to the 1400s. It was born as an agricultural company in the early 1970s from a project of the Mugelli family, specializing in the production of Chianti Classico red wine and Vin Santo wine. The company covers about 17 hectares, of which 6 are olive groves and almost 6 are vineyards, a small organic garden and a wood with a natural lake. In the following years it specialized in the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil, thanks to the experience and research carried out by the owner Marco Mugelli, one of the world’s greatest experts on extra virgin olive oil. The opening of the company oil mill in the 2005 marked a definitive turn towards product excellence.

After Marco’s death in 2011, the company is managed by his sons Matteo and Marta, who carry on the family tradition with perseverance and passion, without renouncing to make improvements and innovations given by the new technologies available.
